Lincoln Park Zoo – Chicago, Illinois with it’s beautiful architectural and modern facilities offer both the visiting public and the animals that make the zoo their home glad they are there.

Established in 1868, the zoo is among the oldest zoological gardens in the country.  Lincoln Park Zoo stands as one of the last free major cultural institutions in the United States and the only one left in Chicago. The Zoo is open 365 days a year.

Lincoln Park Zoo features its SBC Endangered Species Carousel ride, paddle boat and swan boat rides, the LPZOO Express train ride, the 4-D Virtual Safari simulator and a Safari Audio Tour. Note that there is a small fee for each of these specialty attractions.

Summer Weekends:
Memorial Day—Labor Day – (Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays)
Grounds open until 7 p.m.
Buildings and Farm open until 6:30 p.m.

Winter:
Nov. 1 – March 31
Grounds close at 5 p.m.
Buildings close at 4:30 p.m.

Location: Lincoln Park Zoo is located just off Lake Shore Drive at the Fullerton Parkway exit, just minutes north of downtown Chicago. From I-94, exit at either Fullerton Parkway or North Avenue and go east.

Parking: Lincoln Park Zoo is upgrading its parking system in the lot at Cannon Drive & Fullerton Avenue. Parking fees will be collected at the exit of the lot.
