Hardy Reindeer ranch.gifHardy’s Reindeer Ranch – Rantoul, Illinois

Just 15 miles north of the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana, IL. you will find this delightful ranch filled with Santa’s friends!  There are 16 Reindeer and 5 acres of Christmas trees just waiting for you to come out and enjoy them both.

Along with the deer there is a 5 to 10 acre maze that will take you approximately 1 hour (if you are really lucky) to 3 hours to get through.  There are stop for you along the way to get your ticket punched, when you get all 6 you have survived the maze challenge.

There are pedal race cars for you to enjoy, tours of the Reindeer, cookouts (if you call ahead for reservations) and hay rides.

The costs for these activities are so reasonable you won’t want to miss anything.  The maze is just $6 each with those under 4 free; hay ride just $3 each person; pedal car races $3 and the reindeer tour is also $3.  There is also a gift shop for you to browse through and drink a cup of wassel and have fudge.  It doesn’t get much better than that.

Directions from I-57 – Exit the interstate at Rantoul, Exit 250. You’ll stop at RT. 136. Turn left and proceed left for 1/2 mile to the stop light on Evans Rd. Make a left turn and go south on Evans Rd. Go 1 mile and then turn right onto County Road 2900. We’re just a quarter of a mile on the right.
